Refund policy

We want you to be confident when you upgrade. Eligible paid plans include a full refund if you contact us within 7 days after purchase.

7-day money-back guarantee

If you purchase a paid Scanpubs plan (such as Pro) and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 days after purchase. The window starts on the date of that purchase (including when you upgrade from Free to a paid plan).

Each new paid purchase has its own 7-day window counted from that charge. Automatic renewal charges are not eligible for this guarantee once the original purchase window has ended, except where required by applicable law.

Eligibility

  • Your refund request is submitted within 7 calendar days of the purchase date (the eligible charge).
  • The charge was processed by Scanpubs for a subscription listed on our pricing page.
  • You have not already received a refund for the same billing period or plan tier.
  • Your account is in good standing (no fraud, abuse, or chargeback filed before contacting us).

Refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible. Bank or card processing times are outside our control and may take several business days after approval.

How to request a refund

Email contact@scanpubs.com from the address on your account with the subject line Refund request. Include:

  • Account email and, if available, invoice or Razorpay payment reference
  • Date of charge and plan name (e.g. Pro monthly or yearly)
  • Brief reason for the request (optional but helps us improve)

You can also reach us via the contact page or support workspace. We aim to respond within one to two business days.

After the refund window

Purchases made more than 7 days ago are generally non-refundable, except where we are required to provide a refund under local consumer law or we approve an exception (for example, a verified billing error or extended outage of paid features).

Canceling your subscription stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund the current billing period unless you qualify under this policy or applicable law.

Billing errors and duplicate charges

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, twice for the same period, or for a plan you did not authorize, contact us within fourteen (14) days of the charge. We will investigate transaction records and correct verified mistakes with a refund or account credit.

Service issues

For prolonged outages or material failure to deliver paid functionality attributable to Scanpubs, we may offer a partial refund or service credit at our discretion. This does not cover issues caused by your hosting, DNS, site blocking our crawler, or third-party payment or ad networks.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so we can resolve the issue quickly. Unfounded chargebacks may result in suspension of your account until the matter is resolved.

Relationship to other terms

This policy supplements our Terms of service. If there is a conflict between checkout copy and this page for refund eligibility, the terms stated at checkout for that specific promotion control.
