Terms of service

By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using Scanpubs, you agree to these Terms of service, our Privacy policy, and other policies referenced here. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Scanpubs provides software tools, crawls, scores, reports, and recommendations to help you evaluate website readiness for advertising and publishing. Outputs are informational only. We do not guarantee approval, revenue, or compliance with Google AdSense, any ad network, or third-party policies, which may change without notice.

Features vary by plan (Free vs Pro). We may add, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at contact@scanpubs.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the service.

Paid plans, prices, and billing intervals are shown on our pricing page at checkout. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment partners to charge the applicable fees plus taxes where required.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled in account settings or as described at checkout. Refunds are governed by our Refund policy, including a 7-day money-back guarantee on eligible paid purchases requested within 7 days after purchase, as described there.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for unlawful purposes or in violation of third-party rights
• Submit URLs or content you do not have permission to analyze
• Attempt to probe, scrape, or disrupt our systems or other users' data
• Resell, sublicense, or misrepresent audit outputs as guaranteed approvals
• Circumvent plan limits, authentication, or security controls

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, risk to the platform, or non-payment.

You retain ownership of your websites and materials. You grant us a limited license to crawl, process, and display results necessary to provide the service. Scanpubs software, branding, and documentation remain our intellectual property or that of our licensors.

The service may link to or integrate with third parties (payment, hosting, analytics). Their terms and privacy practices apply to those services. We are not responsible for third-party sites or ad network decisions.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. See also our Disclaimer.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCANPUBS AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE SERVICE IN ANY TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THAT PERIOD (OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS IF YOU USE ONLY FREE FEATURES), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use of the service, your sites, your violation of these terms, or your violation of third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access with notice where reasonable, or immediately for serious breaches. Provisions that by nature should survive (including payment obligations, disclaimers, and limitations) will survive termination.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes not subject to mandatory arbitration or local consumer forums, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring claims in your home jurisdiction.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
